POWPOWPOW

Opened my front door tonight and hit myself square in the face…ouch.

You may be it for me.

It is truly amazing how different life becomes when you work a job you don’t completely hate.  Leaving for work each day, I don’t have to convince myself that it is going to be a good day.  In fact, most of the time it just turns out that way.  Picking up my new job responsibilities has been so easy too.  Maybe it is because I want barista training, and I want to have experience in the food service industry—many restaurants require experience nowadays.  To be blunt, I am very happy.

If I could only find someone to go to the beach with me, that would cap this day off nicely.  With the weather the way it is, I am thinking I will just go by myself and read a book—just for fun.  This summer I am trying to push myself to get out of the house, off my computer and phone, and go exploring.  I have free time, why waste it when I know I am going to be busy in 2 weeks with summer classes.

Cassy leaves for a month on Monday.  I can’t quite wrap my head around that yet, however I must say that I am extremely excited and proud of her.  Frankly, I am not worried about “us” while she is away; we will be just fine.

Cheers!

Sometimes it’s just better to hang up the phone.
